Pure joy, elation and such a happy celebration of a one-of-a-kind love would be just a few words I would use to describe JD & Hillary’s beautiful wedding day on October 3, 2015. Their day was perfect; Hillary was so calm and relaxed (which is how it should be!) as her wedding ceremony quickly approached despite Hurricane Joaquin passing through as we prepared and set-up for the day. When I think about Hillary on her wedding day, I just picture her beautiful and contagious smile, and it was as if the rain didn’t matter because in just a few short hours, she would be exchanging vows with her soon-to-be husband at Big Spring Farm in front of their closest friends and family. And as I believed all along, the rain stopped just hours before they were to say “I do,” and everything was perfect, just as it was supposed to be.

Have I mentioned how much I love Hillary and JD? Being a part of their wedding day was such a great honor for me for many reasons. I have known Hillary and her sweet family for so long, and they truly are just like family to my family. I have also had the great opportunity to witness JD and Hillary’s awesome relationship, and have seen first-hand how much they love and appreciate each other for years. And the fact that they trusted and supported me to serve as their wedding coordinator because I had a dream of really giving wedding planning a shot, well – means more than they will ever know. And furthermore, I’m thrilled they will forever hold the title of very first #bswebride and #bswebeau!

Please take a second to join me in wishing Hillary and JD a Happy 1 Year Anniversary! May God grant you all of life’s blessings and love’s joys. To view more of JD & Hillary’s big day, click here!
