To Be Honest…

Happy Monday, friends! I know it’s been a little while since you’ve heard from me ‘round these parts… So, I’m going to be a little honest. It’s been just a little over a month since the official launch of Brooke Shehan Weddings and Events and I’ve already discovered an aspect of this little adventure that needs some major work… and that’s my blog!

Since we’re already being honest, I want to be completely transparent when I say that blogging, for me, is a little intimidating. I want my minute presence in the ever-expanding blogosphere to be an intentional and meaningful space where I share things that are important to my business, myself and, most importantly, my audience (AKA – YOU). For example, I want this to be a place where engaged couples can find helpful resources and learn more about awesome vendors (better yet, #bswefriendors) that will make their wedding day special. But, I also want to use this blog as an opportunity to learn the heart behind #BSWE – AKA me! 🙂

So, y’all… I’m going to ask a huge favor of you. I already have ideas for different posts, features and blog series, but I’m interested in hearing what you’d like to read about! So – if you wouldn’t mind – please leave a comment below and tell me what you would love to see on this blog. Whether it’s business-related or a post completely dedicated to my Top 10 favorite places to eat at Walt Disney World (believe me, I have that one ready at the drop of a hat), I’d absolutely love to hear what topics are of interest to you. And you heard it here first that I promise to be good and post consistent blogs from here on out! 🙂

I hope your week is off to an incredible start! I knew it was going to be a good day when I got my coffee for free this morning (it’s the little things, right?!) but I digress…

See ya real soon! I look forward to reading any and all of your suggestions. And, as always, thanks for following along!

Happy Planning!

Brooke

What about local (Rockbridge Co.) places for attire?! Might be fun…😘

It would be cool to read ideas that you have for some DIY crafts/projects to use at a wedding! I know that you had so many details at your wedding that you and your family made, which was really special!

Yes! This is another idea I’ve had so I’m happy to hear we’re on the same page. Thanks so much, Aly! Gonna do it thanks to you! 🙂 <3
